It is in the nature of personal computers to individualize very quickly based on use and application requirements, so we have not attempted to identify a system configuration for every purpose. The approach we have taken is to define several broad categories of intended use, and identify base systems with likely additional options that can be acquired according to need.
Nevertheless, technology changes very fast! We will produce updates to this document as needed, but in the meantime, if a system configuration does not match your purpose or your users’ needs, try to make substitutions in the spirit of what we have done here. Take advantage of our partnering agreements with suppliers — they can help you by recommending system models or accessory components that are available, covered by our warranty agreements, and compatible with enterprise operating systems and software.
